You can craft items, such as gears and consumables.

Overview

How to craft

Open your inventory and select the Crafting tab to access craftable items that do not require a more advanced station. Hover over the craftable items in the middle of the screen and at the bottom of your screen you will see which items are required to craft a given item. You will also see how many of each required item you currently have in your Inventory.

To craft an item simply click on the image of the item you want to craft, after a set period of time the item will appear in your inventory and the required items will be removed from your inventory.

Having access to a Workbench will greatly increase the amount of items you can craft. The same functionality applies to a Campfire, Cooking Stove, Chemistry Station, etc...

Table Saws function a bit differently. You must have a Log in your hand to interact with the Table Saw. No options will be displayed, the log is removed and put onto the saw. After a certain amount of time, you can retrieve the Wood from the Table Saw.

You'll see the items that you have crafted in the available slots at the bottom. For example, when cooking Raw Meat, you will be able to collect the Cooked Meat once it's completed.
